本州（神奈川県）で少数の個体が発見されている。頭部は複眼の前方にわずかに突出し、背面はやや粗い。小腮刺針（小顎刺針）は複眼に届かない。常緑広葉樹の枯れ枝から得られたが、詳しい生態は不明。食菌性。

A small number of individuals of this species have been found in Honshu (Kanagawa Prefecture). The head protrudes slightly in front of the compound eyes, and the dorsal surface is slightly rough. The maxillary stylets are not reaching compound eye. It was obtained from dead branches of evergreen broad-leaved trees, but the detailed ecology is unknown. Fungus-feeder.
